update with more pictures!

Sorry it's been so long, but here are enough pictures to bring you up to date!

I think I need to stop taking these right before bed. I look very tired in some of these pictures! Mark and I are officially on vacation! We're leaving tomorrow to get outta town for a few day and I'm so excited! It is way past time for a vacation. Since we were both out of work for the day, an haven't left town yet, we spent the day cleaning and organizing the house and Mark started painting the nursery!! It's really funny because the color is barely different from what color we had painted the room when we bought the house! There will be pictures of that project later. Thats all I have to say for tonight. Gotta go, having bad leg cramps. Hopefully I can persuade my sweetie to help me and massage it for me. :)

At Long Last...Pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry it took so long, but I finally got a new cable for my camera! So, at long last, I give you my pregnancy pictures. They start with week 13 because I wanted to wait until the end of the first trimester to really record things, just in case.





I am still doing really well, no morning sickness at all. That has truly been a blessing! I have started with food cravings, though. I keep wanting fried eggs, fried rice and anything with vinegar in it. I can't explain it. The other day, I wanted North Carolina BBQ sauce on top of mashed potatoes! I'm also ALWAYS thirsty. Even as I'm drinking, I'm thirsty. It's really weird. Never in my life have I ever drank so much water! Unfortunately, that also means it comes back out, too. I am getting up somewhere between 4 to 6 times a night just to use the restroom and drink more water!

Update on the wee-one

Alrighty...here's a good update (but sorry, no pics of the little gummy bear). We had another doctors visit today and all is well. They didn't do a sonogram, but REALLY important right now. It was a good strong 186 beats per minute. They filled out more paperwork on e and even gave me reading material and a pre-registration form for when I had to be admitted to deliver. I know it's very early for that, but somehow all of that made it feel like even the doctors were saying that we're more 'out of the woods'. You know what I mean? I just feel like it's more real now and I can worry a little less. They did draw blood to recheck my hypothyroidism and all the usual preggo stuff, like peeing in a cup. Our next appointment is May 27th and I believe that day they're going to check the liver function, or something like that. I don't remember the name of it, but I have it written down. Next Sonogram is scheduled for somewhere around June 10th. I can't wait! Theres going to be so much ore to look at then. As it is, she told me today the fetus is about the size of a large lime. How weird is that!?!?

OK, here's a couple pictures. Mom took them a week ago and Jessica, my sister, just posted them on her blog. I know it's not much, but it's all I got for now.




I gotta say... My arms are huge!! The last pregnancy book I read kept talking about how when you're pregnant, you get this all over 'body cushion' of fat. Yeee-aaaahhhh.......starting to see what she's talking about. Starting to get a little tummy too, but for now, I just feel like I'm getting fat. Hips are definitely wider too, I must say. Probably didn't help that I got pregnant so soon after quitting smoking that I didn't have a chance to loose that weight that I had gained. Oh well. What'cha gunna do?

I know I need to post pictures. I really want to post pictures. Really, I do. Here's the long, complicated story why I'm not as yet. Back in December, Mark and I had a birthday party for the 2 of us at our house. Well Mark was playing 'DJ' and had my laptop sitting on a stereo speaker by our front door. Well, he opened the front door without realizing that the CD drive was open. The door hit the CD drive, and now it won't open - it just makes this terrible clickyclickyclickyclickyclickyclicky noise. Well, that wouldn't be a big deal except right before that party, I reinstalled Windows on my computer. SO...I now can't reinstall the software for my digital camera on my computer. I also cant play CDs, reinstall the software for my MP3 player, burn CDs, play movies, and probably about 20 other things I can't do that escape me right this minute. It bites. I'm waiting for Mark to fix it, but I have to wait for it to make it to the top of his to-do list. Sorry Y'all!! Hopefully soon....
